Wing venation shows many veins and cross veins.

The numerous veins in this type of wing make it appear net-like. No large area of the wing membrane is without several veins passing through. Insects with this wing venation include dragonflies (Odonata) and mayflies (Ephemeroptera). Orders frequently posses several species in which one species has a wing venation with few cross veins, while another species has a wing venation with many cross veins.
